Determining the Process Layout
Assets are a physical representation of machines, lines or areas. TilliT enforces a maximum of two levels of asset hierarchy.
There are three typical scenarios that can be set up:
1 - Simple flat structure.
For operations with a small amount of equipment, or your equipment can be grouped into an asset, you can work on a single level.
2 - Manufacturing Line structure
In this scenario, you will represent a manufacturing line where multiple types of equipment work in a series to produce widgets.
3 - Manufacturing Area structure
If you have a less linear or a job shop, these can be grouped by area, if it makes sense.
