Creating Sites

If your company has more than one site, you may wish to limit access to certain Users can access them. You may also want to limit Assets and Activities to specific sites as well. If that is the case, then you need to start by defining those sites.

First, go to Settings > Asset Hierarchy > Sites

Then click Actions > Create; you will be presented with a pop-up.

ID

This is generated by TilliT and cannot be changed.

Name

Here you will input the name of the site. This is mandatory.

Timezone

Select the timezone of the site. The pop-up will auto select your local timezone, but you can change to any timezone in the world. Due to the enormity of timezones available, it is easier to scroll to the top and use the search function

Display Order

Changes the order in which the Site appears in menus across TilliT.

Save and Close

Once you've completed the required fields, click Save and close to finalise.

Repeat the process for any other sites until you have a list of all your sites:

Your sites will now be available to set site-specific behaviour
